THE FOUNDER DORIS FREITAG.
What began as a very small business in Radeberg in 1991 is now an internationally active family company and leading partner to the radio-pharmaceutical industry. A lot has changed since then. And much has remained the same.
For example, our pioneering spirit, our flexibility and our pursuit of scientific excellence.
Our history
The “Chemical Laboratories for Environmental and Product Analysis” are founded by Dipl. Chem. Doris Freitag in Ullersdorf near Radeberg.
We successfully fulfill our first GMP inspection by the State Directorate of Saxony.
Doris and Dr. Karl-Heinz Freitag become the managing directors of
CUP Laboratorien Dr. Freitag GmbH.
Doris Freitag hands over the management of the company to
Dr. Dirk Freitag-Stechl.
Construction of a modern laboratory and administration building in Radeberg.
The first successful inspection by the US F.D.A.
Closure of the “Environmental Analysis” division and opening of a branch in the Pharmapark Dresden in Radebeul.
RADIOSTER® for sterility testing of “hot” radiopharmaceuticals.
Completion of an ultra-modern laboratory and administration building with state-of-the-art equipment in Radeberg and concentration of activities at the Radeberg site.
Complete relaunch of the brand CUP Contract Labs and clear definition of our core business with a focus on the analysis of complex pharmaceuticals.
